Date Night Ideas

Valentine's Day has passed, but we still think DATE NIGHT is 100% important each week. So we put our collective heads together and asked the Nourish team what they think is a great way to spend quality time with your partner.  1) Pick up some Nourish sides and a steak or salmon fillet to throw on the grill at the Piggly Wiggly and date night is handled! 2) Watch "Britnnay Runs a Marathon" on Amazon. You will laugh hysterically.  3) Take a Saturday morning yoga or pilates class and then head for a boozy brunch at your favorite spot.  4)...

Nourish Spotlight: Mimi Brown

1) Tell us about your business (quick elevator pitch) and how you got started. I started in Birmingham, AL doing florals and events for Sybil Sylvester and interior design.  I decided to move to NYC shortly after my 30th birthday and work in fashion.  I spent 7 years doing celebrity styling and fashion PR working with Zac Posen among others and eventually realized I wanted to go back to my roots - events and interiors. People/Staff:  A lack of turnover with our production team means less time spent on training and more time on increasing efficiencies. 2. A team that truly cares about the business and product.  3. Organization of upcoming sales volumes and inventory. 4. Having a rhythm with menu rotations. ...

Lightened Up: Slow Cooker Creamy Chicken Relleno Soup

Lightened Up: Slow Cooker Creamy Chicken Relleno Soup

Our first blog series on the new website and we are so excited. Tiffany and Mary both held jobs at Cooking light magazine in the 2000's (up until 2014 for Tiffany) in the test kitchen. There they developed recipes that were familiar family favorites, yet lightened up for the home cook. Little did they know it would lay the foundation for Nourish meal delivery.   The Lightened Up series was born in fall of 2019, when our instagram followers presented a unique request. "I love my grandmama's ________ , but it's too heavy, (i.e. calorie-laden, fatty, etc) for me to comfortably...
