So, we recently made the switch from an Olive Oil and Canola Oil blend to Grapeseed Oil. Naturally, we wanted to catch you all up to speed on some of the health benefits.
Grapeseed oil is known to be high in omega-6 fatty acids. In addition, it is packed with vitamin E. Vitamin E works in the body as a fat-soluble antioxidant. More specifically, vitamin E is good for protecting cells from damaging free radicals that are associated with cancer, heart disease, and other illnesses (thus potentially decreasing the risk of these issues). Grapeseed oil has been tied to lower cholesterol levels and improved heart health.
We may have one more fun fact. Obviously, we saved the best for last. Grapeseed oil is known to be good for your hair, skin and nails.
